Korean (Hangeul Grammar)-Basic Only
Korean words are classified into some parts of speech
for so long, but the modern standard is the one discussed in public schools,
designated by South Korea’s 1963 Committee on Education. This comprises the 9
pumsa (품사)) system, which separates words into nine categories
called pumas. The classification of pumas is shown in Table below:
