The responsibilities and duties that are specific to my job role as a chef are the following:

              I.                        Ethics and Ethical Standards at Work

          III.                        Job arrangement where high customer response and management has to be maintained

          IV.                        Environmentally sustainable working practices

            V.                        Job descriptions and employment arrangements or contract compliance

How do your responsibilities relate to workgroup members?

My responsibilities relate to work group members as I have the position as a member chef of the team. I will coordinate all aspects as I have to work while promoting the essence of group cooperation, coordination, solidarity, collaboration and the development or nurturance of group positive relationships. Always I have to consider that whatever responsibilities I have will always affect my co-workers and company where I work so I have to cooperate and work properly and communicate with all of them effectively.

 

 

 

Detail the effects of your workplace actions upon the development of teams and positive relationships.

 

The effects of my workplace actions upon the development of teams and positive relationships are desirable results wherein the team structure becomes more stable and really being composed of more cooperative, sincere and more responsible members willing to be the integral part of the team who would follow the leader to meet any of the workplace deadlines or requirements.  The effects also include the good ambiance and nice work experience as all remain connected and helpful of each other through communication and complying all needed tasks. The effective teamwork is being the main output.

To provide you with an opportunity to take time and resource constraints into account in fulfilling work requirements of self and others.

 

What is a project?

A project is a network of tasks where the allocation of resources is to be considered done to make that projects ends on the time indicated and meeting the budget line only or the given resources each usually is scarce. It targets to produce certain products, services or results needed to ensure meeting of indicated goals and objectives of the entity.

 

 

Explain project management.

 

Project management is the management that is practising the process of initiating, planning, doing actually, controlling and closing the task or work of a team in order to enrich the goals and specifically succeed as a team in undertaking the specific project being assigned to them.

 

 

What are time constraints?

 

Time constraints are the specific limited time or period that are significantly needed for the completion of the tasks.

 

What are resource constraints?

 

The resource constraints are the limited resources that can be used in the activities of accomplishing the projects that may include limited number of staffs or staffing, equipment, machinery, materials and other relevant resources. In case of not man aging them well, they may affect the completion and success rate of the project and meeting the deadlines.

 

 

 

Detail the ways of accounting for these constraints when attempting to fulfil work requirements.

 

The ways of accounting for the time constraints specifically will include prioritisationof tasks, avoidance of interruptions and distractions, discipline, organisation, schedule development, effective planning and commitment and allocation of time for meetings and this may also need some additional manpower or staffs to render the completion of the project in the indicated period required. In the case of the resource constraints, the ways of accounting for it will include improving human resources, materials or ingredients, machinery or equipment needed, stock and supplies and even software which must be aligned to the exact needs of the project that will be sustainable in order to complete in a given period of time.

Objective

To provide you with an opportunity to encourage, acknowledge and act on constructive feedback provided by others in the workgroup.

 

What is constructive feedback?

Constructive feedback is a feedback or opinions that will be according to the accomplished observations and will tackle certain issues or problems that must be solved or must be dealt in the workplace which will render some constructive and information specific style of message to the receiver.

 

Identify three types of feedback.

 

The three types of feedback are the following:

o   Formal/informal performance appraisals

o   Obtaining feedback from clients

o   Obtaining feedback from supervisors and colleagues

 

 

What should an employee do when receiving feedback?

When receiving feedback, the employee should do the responses such as that those who receive the positive feedback may respond with more appreciation and when the negative feedback happens, the one under it must carefully given some concern and care and he must not feel hurt but use it as a way to improve his work and may work more effectively especially with workgroup. The feedback must be a useful message to realise some needed improvements or what actions must be continued to be enriched to work well in the specific position or to connect with groups more effectively.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Describe a time you received feedback. Who gave you it? What did they say? How did you use it?

 

The time I received a feedback, my boss said to me congratulations for making a good job appreciated by one of our customers. My boss gave a nice message that also inspired me a lot and even my co-workers. The feedback became a good instrument for me to improve also and continue my good job in our workplace from time to time.
